NBA Comparison: Marko Jaric
Strengths: A fairly well-developed wing player with an assortment of tools...Developed ballhandling
skills, ambidextrous and can cross over left-to-right and right-to-left equally to handle pressure defense...Okay playmaking
skills, prefers to make the flashy passes at transitions to get assists...Good off-the-ball defender, likes to intercept passes
and strip balls when the opposition is least aware of it to get steals...Decent jumpshooter, but only that...Decent rebounder...Good
height and body for the NBA guard...
Weaknesses: Has been quite a disappointment for the EuroLeague because of his inability to develop
any consistency within his game...Has never been able to put it all together and his team is going down, primarily because
of his lackluster play at times...His relatives died at a young age and he has never been able to overcome that since...Seemingly
weak mentally, aggressive defense really throws him off his game...Sometimes looks like he doesn't put any effort on the court,
playing a bit effortlessly and that could be a problem...Sometimes his free throws come real short which shows that lack of
effort...Playmaking suffers at half-court sets, doesn't really organize the offense well at all...Seems to lack heart...Doesn't
have the most reliable jumpshot, which can come out too flat at times...Gets burned on the on-the-ball defense time after
time...Good athleticism for the Euro level won't stand out much in the NBA level, doesn't really like to dunk...Looks lost
at the court and doesn't know what to do at times, which is definitely not good for a guard...Doesn't really do anything well
in particular in terms of the NBA...
