NBA Comparison: Eddie Jones
Strengths: A very solid-all around player who can contribute in a little bit of everything...Has
the height of a shooting guard in the NBA but can has played some point guard during spurts in Washington's offense, displaying
solid vision and passing ability...Utilizes the two-man play extremely well, knows how to give the "hot" players the ball...Above
average wingspan which can potentially make him a threat in the passing lanes and in contesting shots...Decent mid-range and
three point shot currently...Nice offensive rebounder...Unselfish, sometimes to a fault...Body is currently still weak, but
it will fill out to about 200-210 lbs. given proper regiment training..
Weaknesses: Currently a "potential" player, but the potential is there because he's had some great
games in the past...Doesn't seem to demand the ball much currently, hopefully that will come in time...For some reason his
team doesn't do well when he takes the most shots per game, thus proving the point that he needs to play an all-around game
to help the team...Not too adept defensively, but his tools give him potential for that; invests most of his time making plays
on the offensive side of the court...Good but not great athleticism, dunks "mildly"...Not the most adept player at transition...Quite
turnover prone at this stage in time (averages 3.6); sometime runs into brick walls trying to force plays...Not a good shooter
at this stage in time, will miss his fair share of shots and doesn't always look to shoot the ball...Consistent player, but
rarely seems to have breakout offensive game where he makes a significant impact scoring...As for passing, prefers to make
plays happen rather than running the set offense, he is essentially the playmaker for the team, but he will need to learn
how to utilize everyone's skills at the next level if he wants to become a combo guard...
Notes: Another comparison? John Salmons...Favorite song is T-Pain "I'm in Love with a Stripper",,.His
inspiration is Bode Miller in the Olympics...Likes to watch TV and play DDR in his spare time.
