Micos is a developing combo guard and has been playing under the tutelage of his father, Burrins
Schremvelt. Has very nice athletic tools and is capable of nice-looking dunks, but his best NBA attribute currently resides
in his defense. Also has nice flashy ballhandling skills also, dribbles like the ball is on a string and it really helps him
get to the basket. He's got quick anticipating hands, and to make an analogy, like a jellyfish's tentacles catching its prey,
and he prides himself in his defense, sticking in his man's grill and forcing bad shots. He seems to have no trouble defending
bigger players as well, and often makes them think twice.
His shooting still can use a lot of improvement in this stage, but he's added a jumpshot off the
dribble to his arsenal. Offensively he expends a lot of energy trying intricate moves to the basket, with very mixed results.
He needs to play the game with more poise on this end and severely improve his spot-up shooting. He is not really a threat
offensively either, and his shooting mechanics remind of Josh Childress/ Shawn Marion. He is not really a PG either, often
preferring to take the shot for his own with a bit of a selfish attitude. He would need a full 180 turn in his mentality
to perhaps develop this part of his game.
In terms of competition, Micos plays in a very mediocre conference in Germany, Adelis Acupulco. His
team has a record of 7-8 at this point too, and Micos is as responsible for losses as he is for wins. He tries to do too much
at times.
Micos will probably to look to enter the 2006 draft, as he'd probably be too old for 2007 to garner
interest. He's got some interest with scouts visiting him every so often due to his athletic ability and his defense, but
he's got holes on other parts of his game which he would definitely need to improve.

DEFENSE. The kid loves playing defense and it's so rare and great to see that among this generation's
crop of young guards. Most guys think offense first, but this guy prides himself on his defense, getting steals and sticking
with his man, that he more than compensates on offense. He's a young athletic kid who can also make the occasional highlight
reel as well, and he's recently only beginning to start for his German team Adelis Acupulco. Like all other youngsters, he
severely needs to improve his offensive game ranging from his jumpshot to the way he finishes around the basket, but look
for a bright future with Micos Schremvelt. He is willing to improve and is coached under his father, so the sky is really
the limit for him. He is certainly someone to watch out for.
