NBA Comparison: Aaron McKie

Strengths: A tough guard who leads by example...Brings balance to the team...Has a decent post game for a guard, uses his bulk to back up smaller defenders to score the bulk of his points...Serviceable mid-range shot as well, but doesn't defer to that as often...Good general passing skills, likes to pass out from the post but can also pass around the perimeter...Can play the PG position at spot duty due to solid dribbling/ballhandling skills around the perimeter...Fights hard for rebounds with the bigs, and comes up with quite a lot of them between games...Solid defender around the perimeter...A consummate pro...

Weaknesses: Doesn't have ideal height for the guard position at 6'5"...Strong, but not quick...Has some trouble in defensive rotations and against quicker guards....Not much of an athlete, barely gets off the floor to dunk...Offensive game can end up being severely limited in the NBA level because he won't be able to thrive in the post the way he did at college...Needs an improved mid-range shot and more general range on his shot...Not that good running up and down the court...Doesn't do anything extremely well...What you see is probably what you get.
