NBA Comparison: Francisco Garcia
Strengths: Has a good assortment of tools and skills for the NBA, including length, solid athleticism,
jumpshooting ability, solid slashing ability and playmaking skills all at 6'6"...Can be a combo guard in the NBA, he is that
versatile...Very good ballhandling tools, knows how to change the pace of his dribble and is a natural dribbler who can thwart
defenders with high/low dribble combinations appropriately...Above average spot-up jumpshooter especially from three point
land...Good shooting stroke and touch, a natural seemingly...Has some potential in his pull-up jumpshot, just needs more practice...Good
body contortion in slashes and above average first step and ballhandling skills to get there in the first place...Above average
court vision for his position and height allow him to make passes effectively over defenders...Unselfish...Good shotblocker
for his size, primarily off-the-ball but also catches the defense unawares by blocking layups off blind spots...Solid offensive
rebounder...Very competitive, always wants to please his coach and do the right thing (but see weaknesses)...Solid build-up
frame at his young age, has height down pat already...
Weaknesses: Maddeningly inconsistent...You never know which side of his game you are going to get,
a confident player who can drain shots and pass effectively at the same time or one who runs into brick walls and generates
turnovers at the same pace as his missed shots...His overexuberance and excess of energy often overrides his brain at times,
leading him to make bad decisions...Doesn't seem to have the highest basketball IQ...Once he makes an error on one end, tries
to overcome it at the other end and as a result disrupts the team play...Often renders himself ineffective through silent
spurts in which he disappears or through inconsistent, erratic play...Can be quite turnover prone...Has a lot of talent but
his excess of energy and inconsistencies often seem to override it at times...Considered to be a smooth athlete but only that,
not one who will stand out athletically in the NBA...Streaky jumpshooter...Frail frame may make him a defensive liability
when players go one-on-one against him or post him up, can get overpowered in slashes at times...Not really ready to contribute
in this league, may need a couple years of seasoning to polish up his game...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strengths: A potential player who can possibly develop into a very all-around player in the
NBA...Contributes in a little bit of everything...In his European team he has had experience with the poitn guard position
for the past three years and he shows great leadership and poise creating plays for others...Good court vision and solid ballhandling
skills, helping him to use the drive-and-dish effectively...Comfortable passing the ball in the set offense...Has recently
started to develop a very nice stroke, shooting 38% now from the European three point line at the time of this report...Can
get hot from behind the three point line, scoring mostly in bunches...Has good leg strength and length, helping with his strides
to get to the basket...Has more athleticism than one would expect...Has great potential defensively with his long arms, decent
tenacity on defense and his good anticipation skills...Very good shotblocker, takes advantage of blocking the smaller PG's
shots and possesses good lateral quickness to keep in front of them...Hustles quite well and will chase after loose ball,
often bringing his team energy with his heart...Physically, has a nice frame if he can develop into a PG or even a combo guard
in the NBA...
Weaknesses: Frail and weak frame, needs to put about 25-30 lbs in order to handle the rigors of the
NBA, although it doesn't look like he has the frame to do it...Will be pushed around if he plays the SG position, which is
more of his natural position anyway...May be a defensive liability initially in the NBA because of that, despite his long
arms...Has good PG skills but is by no means a true PG, not a super passer and doesn't have super passing instincts although
it is very good for the shooting guard position; just can be called to play PG at spot-up duty...Can be a streaky shooter
and scorer at times, sometimes rendered invisible despite being the leader of his team...Sometimes does not make an impact
at scoring at all if his shot isn't falling, although he contributes in other ways such as hustle...Doesn't have super physical
tools, not a marvelous athlete and not super quick in transition...Only an average first step although his strides help to
overcome that...Can be extremely erratic and turnover prone at times, trying to force the issue and make plays happen for
himself...Plays in a weak European conference so he easily takes advantage of smaller players, as he is bigger than most of
his matchups...Has recently responded horribly to poorer USA competition but has bounced back a bit...Not ready to contribute
right away...
