NBA Comparison: Emanuel Ginobili
Strengths: Very unorthodox player who plays his unique style of game very effectively...Combines
good athleticism, determination and craft all together...Extremely crafty player. Self-made offensive player who knows how
to make off-balance shots around the basket...Fades away, banks shots at good angles, makes leaners which are all contested...Very
good body control attacking the basket...Can dunk the ball hard if necessary, with a 35' vertical...Uses good long strides
and an above average first step to get to the basket...Draws a lot of contact and has no problem finishing with it...Gets
to the line often, hits at an 81% clip...Very advanced around-the-basket game for a high schooler, sometimes plays like a
veteran in there...Likes to play the run-and-gun game, which energizes him and makes the rest of his game better...Deadly
transition game player...Very energetic and focused, never really floats on the court...Very solid ballhandling skills for
a HS'er, can cross over well and rarely loses the handle...Runs very well around the defensive end and is solid off-the-ball,
gets his lion's share of steals...Improving jumpshooter, with a decent fadeaway jumpshot...Has passing potential with nice
court vision...
Weaknesses: Relies on energy to get the rest of his game going, and that energy is only generated
through attacking the basket...Game is predicated upon attacking the basket to be real effective offensively, and sometimes
this has mixed results...Sometimes gets caught up with the intricate, difficult offensive move when he should just go for
an easy shot...If he starts missing around the basket, can even start missing open jumpshots and pick up senseless fouls...Inconsistent
jumpshooter at best right now, and needs to improve his three point shooting...Defensively needs to stick with his man better,
seems to better at surprising defenders and just wreaking havoc off-the-ball...Rarely utilizes his court vision because he
is the primary offensive player for his high school team...Has had some injury problems early in his life but the seems to
have overcome it...A bit of a raw player in the sense that he needs to organize his offensive game...Ballhandling skills can
use a bit of improvement...May need to put on some extra upper body strength to absorb contact better and finish...Makes difficult
moves look easy and easy moves look hard at times...
