NBA Comparison: Tyson Chandler
Strengths: Rapidly growing big man--in his junior year of high school he was only 6'8", but he grew
to 6'10" his senior year, and now he's a legit 6'11"....With the added height has discovered a newfound propensity for shotblocking...Very
good at altering/rejecting shots, can be considered a paint enforcer with the way he jumps out of the trees to alter basket
attacker's shots...Has very nice NBA physical tools--length, height (as long as he keeps growing), wingspan, leaping ability...Very
good mobility, most prevalent in his defensive movements...Can guard perimeter players fairly well...Above average energy
level. Plays fairly hard and has a good motor, never really looks winded after getting blocks...Runs the floor well...On offense
does a good job of cleaning up misses and getting offensive rebounds for putbacks or dunks...Looks very nice in transition
game...Not very foul prone remarkably...
Weaknesses: Game is very raw and undeveloped right now. Offensive game is limited to dunks and putbacks,
doesn't really have range beyond 3 feet at most...Tries to stifle his offense a bit too much, was a poor scorer at the high
school level and he knew his offensive deficiencies...Doesn't really look to get involved in the offense...Not a particularly
good rebounder as well. Extremely weak for his size, and doesn't look like he has a body capable of putting on much more weight...Gets
pushed out of position often, doesn't maintain balance well and stronger players will certainly get their way in the NBA level...Most
of his strengths are based on potential due to physical tools, not his actual game...
