NBA Comparison: Jermaine O'Neal
Strengths: A big man with quite a polished offensive game...Can back his man down in the post and
hit turnaround jumpshots with some regularity...Very soft touch around the rim, gets a lot of layups even in traffic...Dunks
the ball when there is the opportunity...At his best when the opposition is late to react. Has great instincts and reflexes,
such as getting loose balls and easy dunks...Fairly long wingspan, prevalent in his blocked shots and rebounds at times...Rotates
quickly and fairly well on defense...Above average rebounder on both ends of the court...Potential solid 2-way player in the
NBA...
Weaknesses: Still learning the nuances of the game, there are times when he makes "rookie" mistakes...Can
be careless with the ball with his hands backing his man down in the post...Quite foul prone, on man-defense fouls too often,
much better on rotation defense...Shot angles always change, never keeps the same stroke. Sometimes his shot comes out too
flat at times, but other times it can look like a thing of beauty...Turnaround jumpshot game is much more advanced than his
spot-up game, not a particularly good mid-range shooter as of yet but his turnaround J gives him potential in that...Can be
a lax player at times, may not look like he's putting full effort...Needs to hit the weight room badly. He will get outmuscled
in the league by any big man, as he has a weak upper and lower body; just gets away with that in college...
