NBA Comparison: Chris Duhon
Strengths: Strong guard with an assortment of NBA-related abilities...Most intriguing NBA related
ability is his rebounding ability; excellent rebounder given the minutes he plays...Always seems to find the right spots to
get the rebounds, and uses quickness over big men to chase the ball in the paint...Very good defensive rebounder...Has a nose
for the ball..Good passing ability as well. A true floor general for his team, directs everyone to the right locations and
rarely turns the ball over...Very good at directing the post player, he and Harvey Oriel made a very nice inside-outside tandem
last year...Generally plays under control, makes the simple pass and often turns that into results...Very reliable player,
like a coach on the floor whom the coach can trust...Has a post game for a point guard, uses strength to back down defenders
and score points...Decent touch on mid-range J...Plays decent contain man-to-man defense, but nothing really special...
Weaknesses: Game has regressed a bit from past years; 2 years ago, he held the starting spot and
got more assists and points, but Ohio is trusting its new freshman PG more with the bulk of the minutes...A bit of a scoring
liability now even in the college level, partially due to his overall unselfishness...Doesn't have the most reliable jumpshot.
Mid-range game needs some refinement and doesn't shoot three pointers well (26%)...Rarely attacks the basket, lacks a first
step and good speed...Won't stand out much in terms of speed and talent in the NBA level...Doesn't really like transition
game, prefers the half-court set...Has trouble getting around screens and doesn't move too well off the ball...Has trouble
against quicker/more talented guards in man-to-man defense...Not overly talented or physically gifted...
