NBA Comparison: Bonzi Wells

Strengths: A very tough, nitty-gritty post player who predominantly likes to grind it up in the paint...Strong-built body, with great upper body strength and muscles in the appropriate places...Very advanced post game, has a classic assortment of spin moves to move towards the basket...Strong dunker, dunks fairly often...Explosive first step. Simply knows how to get to the basket and finishes well even after drawing contact...Superb rebounder, leads the team with about 7.5 per game...Hustles well and plays a good scrappy game, seen often amongst the trees of big men and can even draw offensive rebounds to himself...Gets a lot of steals and plays good man-to-man defense, sort of the in-the-face type...Tough guy reputation...Fills up the stat sheet well...

Weaknesses: A PF trapped in a SG's body right now...Lacks an outside game from anywhere--improving mid-range shooter but still well under par, and no three point range as of yet...Gets to the line, but rarely converts his free throws as he shoots at a 56% clip...Horrible shooting mechanics and stroke as well, lacks the "soft" touch that most NBA SGs would have...A lot of obstacles to overcome in terms of shooting...On top of that, an inconsistent offensive player. Brings it every night, but does not always make his post shots...Once he misses his first couple of shots that's pretty much what you get for the rest of the night, more missed shots...Lacks concentration at times, has some mental lapses...Gets down on himself after poor plays...Many technicals...Mediocre passer only, but lacks court vision...
