NBA Comparison: Jason Kapono
Strengths: Pure shooter...Textbook form and mechanics...Rarely ever misses when open...Excellent
three point percentages last year (47%)...Unlike most pure shooters he can actually shoot well on the run, off the dribble
and on the fade as well...Clever offensive game, has offensive talent...Has NBA-moves such as pump fakes and spin moves...Above
average ballhandling skills...Excellent passer within the context of the offense, often is the 2nd leading man in assists
behind Marquette's PG...Plays smart, rarely ever makes bad decisions...Very good competitor...More athletic than he looks...
Weaknesses: Not too athletic despite the aforementioned comment. Got to the line less than 1 time
per game with Marquette, virtually unacceptable for a player to be drafted...Lacks weight and doesn't like to take contact
attacking the basket, which is probably what scares him off...Lacks a good first step, just uses smarts/savvy to get those
shots which he may not be able to get at the next level...Rarely ever looks to rebound the ball...Not a good defender. Lacks
lateral quickness, doesn't react to screens well, generally can't keep up with his man...Not quick in the open court, prefers
the half-court...Unlike his brother Jack Correll can get down on himself when he has a bad game...
Most optimistic outlook? Wally Sczerzbiak.
