NBA Comparison: Jason Terry
Strengths: Streaky combo guard who prefers to look for his own shot...Has a gunner mentality which
can be real effective at times, helping him to make intricate moves and difficult shots...Very good ballhandling skills, can
break defenders down with ease, has good shift of gears/change of pace, thus helping him to get off his shot wherever he wants
to get it off...Diversified offensive game, can hit shots off the dribble, from mid-range, from standstill positions, off
screens, from three point land, etc...Gets his shot off quickly and possesses a good general shooting stroke...Also possesses
a nice floater once he gets into the lane to avoid defenses...Can take it strong to the basket with speed and has deceptive
strength which helps him to make reverse layups and regular layups in traffic...NBA-ready offensive game, his creativity,
ballhandling skills and offensive skill set make him a lethal weapon on the offensive side of the court...Mostly a rover-type
defender who turns it on and off, but can play solid to strong defense when motivated due to his pestering arms and lateral
quickness, as well as being a decent gambler...Has shown potential to run the offense when he's playing under control, having
improved on his leadership skills over the past year and always having the innate court vision and passing ability...
Weaknesses: Still plays out of control fairly often, always looking for his shot...Although he puts
up better shooting percentages due to his willingness to perfect his offensive game, he still looks out of control and often
disorients the structure of the offense...His team was one of the last in assists in the EuroLeague and he had a lot to do
with it...Has never displayed his passing potential because of his gunner mentality...Likes to handle the ball for most of
the possession, often displaying a selfish mentality between possessions...Can be a streak shooter at times, taking too many
contested shots and possessing a high arch which can lead some of his shots to fall short...Not too athletic, more quick and
deceptive than he is athletic...Gambles for steals too often or even naps on defense at times, not putting great effort leading
to failed rotations by his teammates and easy baskets...With his mentality there is little hope he can become a PG, more of
a combo guard at best...Seems to thrive best when shooting the ball which is not what all teams would want...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strengths: Possesses incredible shooting ability from all over the court along with good defensive
tactics...Very solid mechanics and quick release on his jumpshot...Can make fallaway J's off balance and off screens extremely
well...Thrives in taking the complex shot...Likes to create his shot off the dribble and often hits them at a high clip...Good
three point shooter...Takes long strides in attacking the basket and is quite acrobatic in his finishes...Very explosive offensive
player...Very Iversonesque on defense, uses quick hands and great anticipation skills to attack the passing lanes...After
getting steals likes to thrive in transition game...Really elevates his game in transition; makes better decisions, whether
passing or finishing for the basket...Extremely quick player...Has solid floor vision and passing skills but that hasn't been
fully tested yet...
Weaknesses: Incredibly streaky offensive player...Some days he shoots extremely well and scores a
lot, but other days he shoots extremely poorly and scores very little...Although he can shoot he completely abuses his jumpshot
and stops attacking the basket at times...Can determine the fate of his team simply by his shooting...Likes to have the ball
in his hands and create plays, with mixed results as he has a 1.3/1 assist to turnover ratio...Although an effective stealer
sometimes exposes/affects team defense if he does not make the steal...Doesn't have much passing ability, and needs to instill
more of a passing mentality...Average athleticism...Needs to play more under control...Game is like a double-edged sword and
is very unpredictable--you never know which side of him you're going to get...
