NBA Comparison: Vladimir Radmanovic
Strengths: Excellent shooter, has a natural shooting stroke which
can't be taught, coupled with a quick release to get his shot off...Rarely does his shot ever get blocked as he possesses
a high arch and good follow through; always has the same form on his shot...Unlike most European players of his size, sports
above average athleticism to help him play above the rim at times...Loves to play off the ball and look to score, can cut
to the basket and end plays in dramatic fashion...Has the running ability of a guard in transition, can act as a cutter and
finish plays there as well (just not enough)...Can get hot within games and light up the scoreboard with his three point shot...Solid
rebounder...Decent, underrated passer especially from the high post, can find the open man...Generally is an unselfish player
who will only look to score when open or when necessary...Smooth, effortless player on the court...Has a promising NBA frame
which could make him a matchup threat when developed properly...Has some potential...
Weaknesses: Struggles when handling a bigger role...Tends to miss
shots as the primary option, mental toughness may be questioned in this aspect...Doesn't seem to be starter quality, as his
past two teams which had him on loan ran the offense through him and lost many games in the process...Has a high release point
on his shot which may be too high at times causing shots to fall short...Has the height, smoothness and nifty moves to create
off the dribble and slash in half-court sets but rarely does...Not a high intangibles player, seems rather content with his
role...Seems to drift and lose focus at times...When he misses shots the rest of his game gets in a funk...Can be woefully
one-dimensional at times only looking to shoot shots; at these times shot selection is a concern...Only an average free throw
shooter considering his shooting ability and stroke...Lacks physical toughness on defense, combined with his mental mistakes
he has trouble guarding post players...Not a good one-on-one perimeter defender...Doesn't make the most out of his physical
abilities...Needs to add more weight, struggles with inside play and finishing at times...Struggles with consistency, one
night he can really wow you with his potential and the next he can make you look down at him...
Notes: His shooting impressed scouts at the 2006 Global Games Summit
held at Torino, Italy. This year he is on loan with Tau Verjalin in Portugal, on a 4-year contract which may ultimately determine
where he is to be picked in the draft.
