NBA Comparison: Ime Udoka
Strengths: Versatile player who possesses a certain bit of strengths at playing each wing position...Possesses
a good feel for the game. Never forces the issue or bogs down the offense, keeps it flowing. Makes the right decisions...Good
ballhandler...Picks his spots well on both ends of the court...Has some scoring versatility, can be prone to shoot from anywhere.
Rapidly developing three point shot means that he should not be left open...Smart passer who can key up the offense at times
and find seams in the defense...Very good rebounder coming from his height, hustles well and crashes the offensive glass especially...Solid
defender both off the ball and man-to-man, does especially well against slower matchups...Solid body control slashing to the
basket...Solid build...Quite young for his age (1985 born, a senior)...
Weaknesses: Offensive game is only developing. Very raw and unpolished shot especially for a senior,
his jumpshot from mid-range and beyond lacks consistency...Three point shot is a work in progress, has a slight hitch in mechanics...Won't
be an good scorer in the next level. Unselfishness and inconsistent offensive tools contribute to that...Free throw shooting
(67%) is below average...Not a ballhawk on defense, has some mentality but doesn't have great athleticism, quickness or natural
physical tools to complement him...Not a particularly adept slasher, contact throws him off in his finishes...Good ballhandling
skills but never plays an off-the-dribble game to open up things for himself or his teammates (doesn't seem to be due to lack
of ability though)...Ball protection sometimes needs work, sometimes exposes the ball a bit too much at times...Has a tendency
to wilt in the clutch offensively...Has good height for a PG, but cannot play full-time because of his lack of good footspeed
and his merely average vision of the court...Lacks the shooting touch of a SG, can be a "tweener" between the SG and SF positions,
lacking the height for SF as well...
Notes: Shined against Duke scoring 25 points, getting 10 rebounds and 4 steals against Ferge White
and sharpshooter guard Erris Petrey. Tends to have strong performances against strong Division-I teams, also exploding against
Florida (16 points, 11 rebounds) and California (12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists, 0 turnovers).
