Dalarva has an extremely developed body and he plays an extremely aggressive style on both ends of
the court. He pushes the ball up relentlessly and has the combination of strength, quickness, and athleticism to move up the
court very well. He loves to run-and-gun and often makes good decisions at this end, being good at ballhandling, passing or
simply slashing in this area. Dalarva also has a nifty assortment of gears, often changing pace to disorient his matchup,
to slash to the basket. He really shines as a passer in transition, and this may translate to the NBA level as well. Dalarva
has an extremely pure shot, and if he works on it, can really become a pure shooter--he has NBA three point range and can
heat up in a hurry, with good elevation and sound mechanics. He is an accurate spot-up shooter at half-court sets. Dalarva's
defense, however, is horrible. He gets lost off screens continually, doesn't rotate too well or move well-off-the-ball, and
his defensive discipline isn't there as he always tries to leap and block the shot. Dalarva simply has many bad habits for
a high schooler, which sometimes offsets his talent at times. He lacks a good feel for the game, being a below-average decision-maker
and being erratic at times, whether with his ballhandling, shooting or with his defense. He needs to adjust to the NBA's speed
of the game, especially in half-court sets.
