NBA Comparison: Dorrell Wright (at full potential)

Strengths: Festers is an absolute freak-of-nature physically, and a matchup nightmare for any wing guard. He has a nightmarish wingspan of 7'1" on a 6'8" body, and combined with his extreme speed, lateral quickness and a 38.5" inch vertical, he routinely makes a living blocking shots and finishing on fastbreaks, where he seems virtually unguardable when motivated. Festers excels in blocking slashers and even jumpshooters at times, using his excellent leap and long arms to always come out of nowhere and reject the opposition's shot. Festers's ballhandling skills are rapidly improving, but for now he tends to live off his magnificent first step and good second gear, shift of speeds to slash to the basket where he is capable of either driving-and-dishing for assists or finishing for himself. Festers has above average court vision and sees the floor quite well especially with his height, but he rarely plays the playmaker role unless totally necessary, but he can definitely draw defenders and dish appropriately. Festers is a solid shooter at this point in time, who can hit the NBA three point shot and the mid-range shot at a solid clip. He has very nice touch in his stroke and gets good follow through and arc on his shot. Festers is a natural talent, blessed with a solid skill set and great athleticism, and with that combination the sky's the limit. Festers is extremely young for his draft class as well, with a lot of potential.

Weaknesses: There is very little to complain about Festers right now, but like many he tends to live off of his physical talents alone. He's raw and unrefined, and doesn't seem completely able to adjust to the team game at times. He can be a big egotist at times, a bit unreceptive to coaching and just turning it off and on whenever he feels like it. Festers has little craft in his game, which could come to bite him in the NBA; he's not a fancy dribbler, he rarely uses head-fakes and jabsteps, and he tends to take shots of high difficulty without giving himself the option of taking an easier one. Festers is all finesse at times, he has little power which shows in his lack of rebounding ability (which is unacceptable) and the fact that he rarely gets to the free throw line (although that will improve). Festers can be a bit turnover prone and erratic forcing the issue with his passes or trying to see something that isn't there as well. His jumpshot's solid, but not great; he is not completely adept at hitting off the dribble, and his ballhandling skills are rudimentary for the NBA level but not to the point where he can create shots for himself and others--he is reliant on his athleticism and speed on these areas. Festers can be invisible from time to time, sometimes leaving one wondering whether he can be better. He has bouts of streakiness from time to time in basically all of his stats. He has solid basketball IQ but sometimes he simply abuses his talents. Festers is cut from the long and lanky mode, but he can afford some more strength although it isn't entirely necessary at this point of time.
