NBA Comparison: Primoz Brezec
Strengths: Has been able to show flashes of NBA potential in all of his game...Very solid offensive
player; has all the moves expected for a center...Solid post player, backs his man down quite easily and has turnarounds,
hooks and layups in his arsenal...Can step back and hit mid-range jumpers as well...Gets fouled at a good clip each game...Offense
is currently his best NBA attribute...Very long, so his shot is hard to block...Moves his feet and competes defensively as
well...Plays like a white-collar person defensively, it is rare to see a 7-footer hustle and get down on the floor but he
does....Competes for rebounds, uses fundamental box-outs...Very young player...Has a good NBA center frame...
Weaknesses: Everything he does seemingly is all flashes of potential, nothing is really consistent...Never
really seems to use his physical gifts (height and length) to the fullest and seems to resort being a white collar center...Quite
a raw player. Still developing his understanding of the game and still makes quite a lot of "rookie" mistakes...Just an average
rebounder despite his height...His defense is mostly of the foul-prone material, and does not get that many steals and blocks
for his size...On offense, he will get pushed out of the paint in the NBA level due to lack of weight...Can get invisible
for stretches within the game...Cannot contribute right away...
Notes: Has really become a notable name in Europe basketball after a very good showing in the International
ABCD camp.
