NBA Comparison: Dahntay Jones
Strengths: A defensive stopper...Has held many of the opposing star SG's well below their statistical
averages...Shuffles his feet well on defense one-on-one...Good athleticism; has the leaping ability to affect/alter shots...Surprisingly
good shotblocker for his position...On offense thrives in finishing around the basket...Gets to the basket well; has a lot
of intricate spin moves and fakes to lose his defender and move towards the basket...Draws a lot of fouls each game...Pretty
good rebounder...Plays with heart. Doesn't mind doing the dirty work for the team even though he's their undisputed star,
and it's good to see that sort of mentality in talented college players and would help him adjust to the role player mentality
in the next level...
Weaknesses: A bit hard to determine his position even though he has the height and weight of a NBA
SG...Not a good fluid jumpshooter, a bit mechanical on his jumpshot and even so it's not effective...Inconsistent three point
shooter...Even in college showed some weakness in finishing around the basket...Not a good foul shooter...Needs to add some
more weight for the NBA...Hasn't really been tested in ballhandling, but has been quite turnover prone whenever he attacks
the basket...Not much court vision...
