NBA Comparison: Mark Blount
Strengths: Possesses a big body relative to his size, burly-esque type which is NBA-ready in terms
of banging in the block...Very solid offensive game, ambidextrous and can use left or right-wing hooks backing down his man...Shows
solid touch from the perimeter at times, attested by his solid 76% free throw percentage...Has shown abilities to be a nice
shotblocker, with good length and wingspan...Has the body to smother his man and play good individual defense...Not a sloth,
solid running the court despite his frame...Has the strength to finish inside and draw contact...
Weaknesses: Effort level is lacking. Can clearly dominate in the European level, but hasn't yet.
Makes his coach salivate with his flashes of good play but often follows that up with a bad one due to lax effort, resulting
in inconsistencies...Effort level is shown in rebounding. Horrendous rebounder for his size, possesses slow reaction time
and doesn't pursue rebounds as much as he should, despite boxing out decently...Used to block more shots and made his debut
in Europe primarily as a shotblocker but as he has rounded out his offensive game just isn't as effective in that area...Not
a prolific dunker, may be a bit finesse at times although at the same time he may show a bit of a mean streak between spurts...Not
really athletic, lacks vertical; a little below average but probably solid for the big man level...A bit older than the average
draftee...
