NBA Comparison: Jason Maxiell
Strengths: A bruiser...Plays tough underneath the basket...Carves his own space as he is usually
stronger than his opposition...Bulls his way to the basket...Unlike most undersized PFs he also has above average athleticism,
in essence sort of like Darvin Ham...Capable of rim-rattling dunks after backing his opposition down...Chases down a lot of
rebounds each game...Gets a lot of steals and blocks at the college level...Runs the court well and loves to dunk off lobs...Plays
with a mean streak and killer instinct...
Weaknesses: Nothing about his game is "soft", and he just uses his toughness to get away with most
of what he does in college...Undersized PF, but his tenacity could probably make up for it...Uses leaping ability to block
shots and rebound but that may not work in the NBA...On offense relies too much on brute strength that none of his post moves
are really refined...No jumpshot. That will be a huge weakness in the NBA until he develops one...Quite foul prone as well.
