NBA Comparison: Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Strengths: A giant...Splendid offensive game...Like Tim Duncan has virtually mastered banking the
shot at appropriate angles off the glass...Offensive game looks easy for him...Simply towers over his competition but still
has the finesse game of turnaround J's and step-backs as well...Has a consistent mid-range jumper out to 15'...Decent rebounder...On
defense uses his height to swat ill-advised shots...Rotates well on defense...Good knowledge of the game...
Weaknesses: On offense, tends to be "soft"; for his size, ought to dunk, but half of the time he
prefers to lay it up in...Rarely backs down his man, prefers taking soft J's which is unacceptable for his size...Rarely gets
underneath the basket, whether due to lack of strength or intensity; usually finds himself outside the paint or just within
it...Seems soft and shies away from contact...Gets moved quite easily...Needs more lower body strength...Sometimes lacks intensity,
and this hurts his offensive and defensive production at times...Doesn't really corral after rebounds and isn't a great rebounder
which he should be...Short arms...Seems rather reluctant on defense, should block more shots...Always gives the impression
that he is underachieving.
